Diabetes is a disease with high blood glucose (sugar level) caused by a number or reasons, including genetic factors, unbalanced diet, sedentary lifestyle, etc. There are two different types of diabetes. In Type 1 Diabetes, the body cannot produce insulin and the immune system attacks pancreas cells and destroys them. In Type 1 diabetes patients, medications can be applied. Heart Failure and Rhythm Disorders

Heart failure is when the heart is damaged for various reasons and the body cannot produce the blood it needs. Heart attacks, prolonged hypertension or congenital diseases can cause heart failure. Heart rhythm disorder (arrhythmia) is the name given to the functional disorders of the heart. It can be observed in the form of bradycardia, i.e. heart rhythm less than normal and of tachycardia i.e. heart rhythm faster than normal. Heart diseases might occur due to stress, anxiety, anemia and fatigue.

Anemia and Blood diseases

The protein that gives blood its red color and is responsible for carrying oxygen to cells is called hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is carried by red blood cells in the blood. If hemoglobin protein in the blood falls below the normal level or the number of red blood cells decreases, it is called anemia.

There are many different types of blood diseases such as blood cancer, chronic myelocytic leukemia, lymphoma, myelofibrosis and platelet deficiency, and the internal medicine department is involved in the diagnosis and treatment of these diseases.

Cholesterol, Elevated Triglyceride

The most common type of fat in our blood is triglyceride. A triglyceride level above normal level in the blood is called elevated level of triglyceride. Elevated triglyceride can be caused by high blood pressure, heart diseases, kidney diseases and diabetes. Cholesterol is a fat-like substance found in all cells of our body. It is used in the production of cell membranes and some hormones, but an excessive amount of it in the blood is harmful. Check-up literally means general screening. With Check Up (General health screening), diseases can be detected and controlled at the initial stage. General health screening aims to take necessary precautions before the disease occurs or detect the existing disease at the earliest stage and ensure that the person maintains his/her health integrity.
With the Check-Up services we provide in our hospital as Private Ege Şehir Hospital, our specialists examine the individuals, determine the tests to be applied and take all the necessary consultation decisions, and then the check-up begins.
